"Don't put off for tomorrow what you can do today"
~Everybody who gets things done
Now I actually thought about waiting until morning to post this, but I decided that maaaybe I should follow the very advice that I'm dishing out here. Don't want to go to bed a hypocrite now do we?.
(No really, I posted this the moment I thought of it)
Now I'm sure this isn't the first time you've heard these ageless words about why you shouldn't procrastinate, but the whole concept of "taking action" and "seizing the moment" has been plaguing me for the longest time, so I thought that perhaps I'm not the only one.
There are simply soooo many instances, (especially in college) where you put off doing something and it comes back to bite you in the butt.
You could have started that paper weeks ago, but you found better things to do at the moment..Now the due date has crept upon you AND there are two exams staring you down.
You had the money to pay you rent 3 DAYS BEFORE it was due, but you didn't.. Then it just slipped your mind and now they've got to tack on that late fee.
Yeah, you know what I'm talking about don't you?
I'm simply here to remind you of the stress and anguish reprieve can cause and reminding you to take action when you can.
If you want to show your mom or pop you love em', you don't have to wait till Mothers Day or Fathers Day to show em some love, do it today.
If you're thinking about telling that special lady or gentleman how you really feel, get to it. The good ones get picked up quickly these days.
If you've been wanting to learn a language or read a book or take a class and you've got the time and/or money to do so, just go do it. Life can often times be way to short. I mean, we're on our way out from the moment we're born..Why not live a little?
Squeeze all you can in before you get outta this place. ^_^
Just a reminder. ;)
